Apple Festival Reminders

Important info from the Hendersonville, NC City Government facebook page regarding The North Carolina Apple Festival:

We have some reminders as we approach the third evening of the Apple Festival and head into Labor Day!

🚧 This evening at 8 PM, the festival north of 2nd Avenue will close down as vendors pack up and we prepare for tomorrow’s King Apple Parade…but don’t worry…you can still enjoy south end of the festival until 10 PM as well as the mini-street fair on Monday from 10 AM until the end of the parade. Visit https://www.ncapplefestival.org/ for more festival and parade info.

🚫 In preparation for tomorrow’s parade, there will be no parking on Main Street on the 700 and 800 blocks starting at midnight. The existing festival street closures will remain in effect until Monday evening after parade clean-up.

🚓🛺🛻🚒🛴🚙 The King Apple Parade starts on Monday at 2:30 PM and runs from north to south. The parade viewing area extends along Main Street from 5 points to Kanuga/Caswell.

🤹‍♀️ Parade staging will occur on Oakland Street from Asheville Hwy to 6th Avenue West as well as along Bearcat Blvd in front of Hendersonville High School.

🦺 Motorists approaching the parade area

will be directed to a detour route. Additional information on the parade street closures and detours can be found at www.hvlnc.gov/applefest23.
